Clusters of One Noctis Georgii ANDREA COPP

He broke free from the moon,
slipping past gravity,
tumbling through space for millions of years.
Star-dust clung to him,
the sky etched across his surface.
One night, while collecting stones along the seashore,
I heard a thud
and saw steam rise at the edge of the shoreline.
That’s where I found him:
a soft fragment of the cosmos
walking toward me,
filled with light and dreams.
I picked him up
and carried him home.
